Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro Robot Lawn Mower

Works awesome. Super Easy setup also. It has gained my trust

As an engineer, I had a tough list of criteria. Our Husqvarna Automower served us well in the beginning of the 2000's, but I was not about to lay out a guide wire again.
Ladt year I checked out the RTK antenna dependencies and was not impressed.
And bingo: Navimow came out with 'everything'.
Our lawn is very triccky with 'cliffs', channels and obstructions, so yes, I had to drive the mower around the edge manually, acknowledging that it wouldn't be able to do so automatically; but honestly, this took and hour and we're all set with two connected zones, each with individual cutting height and cutting direction.
Amazing stuff. I am super impressed. My wife is very impressed too.
The app show we have 410 m2, so this model deals with zone 1 one day and zone 2 the next - starting p.m. to wait for a dry lawn.
AWD is well worth it; Lidar spots every 'surprise'.
Normally I would list the gotchas and caveats, but really, there are none. Hard to believe, I know.

Easy to start, easy setup, easy app. Works well for first week.

Setup was simple and intuitive. Mower works fine.

I have noticed that the mower keeps a very large safety distance from small obstacles such as trees and fence posts.
For example:
Tree trunk diameter: approximately 10 cm
Uncut grass around the trunk: approximately 25-30 cm from the trunk edge
The mower starts turning away well before reaching the tree. It does not approach close to the bumper.
The LiDAR lens and VisionFence camera are clean. The mower otherwise navigates accurately.

The AWD is really worth it - we used to have a robot with 2WD and a caster wheel and it kept on struggling and got stuck often. This goes through all the bumps, dog dug up holes with ease. It also doesn't tear grass like 4WD models which use opposite turning wheels to steer. But one thing that is annoying is that robot doesn't have physical rain sensor and relies on weather forecast which is far from accurate. Other model specific aspects, reliability is hard to rate as I have it running only for a week or so.

Software is easy to use, it have good guides, but at the same time it lacks basic features like marking trees so you will have to work around with vision-fence and no-cut zones combo to achieve more efficient cutting around trees or cutting grass under trees with lower branches. A 30 vision-fence limit also means that you can't configure properly a lawn that have more than 30 zones of combined trees, bushes, paths or flowerbeds. Also, what I noticed that robot leaves some uncut strips even though APP clearly sees and shows that uncut strip-it just doesn't bother to send robot there to finish that strip for some reason. Software also have no way of using robot cameras as a security camera like on other brands which also might be useful if robot gets stolen or if you simply want to check your yard.

All in all, the hardware seems to be good but software still needs some work. Just for that I can't rate it perfect, even though it really is not so far from it.

Working as expected.

Quite an ok machine in general, with a very nice app. Though, I don't see the robot cutting well edges despite all the settings tell it to do so. Sometimes, leaves narrow areas uncut. It seems that when you define area boundaries, it strictly follows them without even trying to take another 10-20cm closer to a fence, for example. No idea how is LiDar used, as the robot neither sees obstacles well (example, we dug a small whole another day, around 30cm of diameter, and it got stuck in it.
Would I buy it again? Not really sure. My expectations were much higher. Though have to admit that I dont know how other brands's robot are, so cannot compare.

This robot is amazing! It perfectly doing expected job. First configuration process is simple and intuitive.

Excellent mower, easy to set up

A super experience after the first 1,5 weeks. Very easy setup -even with quite a complex garden, the Navimow just mapped it perfectly in the first go. And it has been running 100% on its own - doing a great job from first installation. No intervention needed at all. And the result looks great. Just hope that the long term reliability and quality will be meeting expectations - but only time will tell.

Made an upgrade from a Worx Landroid, and in general the Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro is a huge upgrade. I used to have a lot of problems with my old mower digging holes in the corners of my garden, but the Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro is yet to get even remotely stuck anywhere.

It also cuts in nice, straight lines unlike my Worx Landroid that used a chaos system, and it keeps perfect track of where it has been and has not been. The straight lines are driven in a different angle with each mowing cycle, which basically has the same effect on my lawn as the chaos system.

The only issue that I find is to make it cut to the edge (I have 15 cm tiles around my entire lawn) in the whole garden despite having made a manual mapping, where I run with one wheel on the tiles. In some areas it works fine in others it seems to be more difficult.

Software still needs some fine tuning. If the robot gets stuck and you’re not at home, it must be possible to turn the power off from the app. It must also be possible to reboot the software from within the app when the robot or app is not responding due to software bugs

Everything as expected. Nice build quality, easy to setup, app is well made and UI is perfect so it only takes some seconds to change different settings.

So far, really pleased with it.
